Job summary

BW Design Group in Portland, OR, is seeking a Project Manager, Controls Systems to lead controls and automation projects for consumer products and industrial clients. You will design electrical control systems, program PLC/SCADA, mentor engineers, and grow the regional business while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of automation experience are required; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Rockwell hardware and software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead controls and automation project work including hardware/panel design, PLC/HMI programming, SCADA design and power distribution.
• Manage proposals, estimates, schedules, resources, staffing, contracts, order processing, quality control, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop annual vision plans and support strategic business planning for the controls and automation group.
• Coordinate with recruiting to hire controls and automation professionals.
