Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC is seeking a Control Room Operator to monitor and control plant systems from the control room, ensuring safe and efficient operation. You will respond to alarms, adjust parameters, and maintain logs, while guiding other staff during routine and emergency conditions.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3+ years operating high-pressure boilers and associated equipment, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership and direction to other staff during operations.
• Ability to read blueprints, P&IDs and electrical schematics.
• Basic computer literacy for control systems and logs.
• Demonstrated safety-conscious approach to operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control plant systems from the control room.
• Respond to alarms and abnormal conditions per procedures.
• Operate startup/shutdown sequences safely and efficiently.
• Maintain logs, records, and operating data.
• Provide guidance to other Operations staff as needed.
• Ensure environmental compliance of plant equipment.
• Review data trends to identify issues and improvements.
• Communicate status with Shift Supervisor and maintenance.
