Job summary

Capital Power is hiring a Control Room Operator for our Harquahala facility. You will lead a three-person team on a 12-hour rotating shift, ensuring safe and efficient operation of a 1092MW Combined Cycle Power Plant from the Control Room.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma completed.
• Technical training related to the role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of all plant equipment and systems.
• Monitor plant parameters and perform operator rounds.
• Manage water chemistry and chemical feed as needed.
• Document work in Maximo and issue maintenance requests.
• Coordinate with operations and lead operator on shift.
• Support training for junior operators and follow safety rules.
