Job summary

The Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure Plc is seeking a Control Room Operator to safely manage a power plant during normal and emergency conditions, including 12‑hour rotating shifts in California. You will perform startup/shutdowns, monitor systems, and keep accurate logs while coordinating with the Operations team.

Qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge of power plant systems and equipment.
• Two years' experience with steam generating power plant equipment or equivalent training.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and inspects plant to determine operating condition and performance.
• Performs start-ups, shutdowns, and normal or emergency operations.
• Advises supervision of daily activities and irregularities.
• Maintains logs and records from routine inspections of equipment.
• Operates equipment including boiler, turbine, and balance of plant systems.
