Job summary

General Matter is seeking a Contracts Manager to support commercial, procurement, construction, and government-contracting activities essential to building America’s next-generation uranium enrichment capability. You will draft, negotiate, and administer agreements affecting facilities, suppliers, and mission-critical programs within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Manage contracts from intake through execution, administration, amendments, renewals, and closeout (MSAs, SOWs, purchase orders, supply agreements).
• Develop and implement contract policies, templates, workflows, and obligation tracking.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Compliance on vendor diligence, screening, and export controls.
• Familiar with FAR/DEAR flowdowns and other regulated requirements.
• Maintain organization and resolve issues in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and administer NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, purchase orders, and related contracts.
• Manage contract lifecycle steps from intake to closeout and renewal.
• Incorporate flowdowns like FAR/DEAR, export-control, insurance, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Support federal contracting activities, including DOE contracts and contract modifications.
• Develop templates, playbooks, and standard negotiation positions to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction, Finance, and Operations on complex agreements.
