Job summary

General Matter seeks a Chemical Operations Manager to bring a state-of-the-art enrichment facility from development through full-scale operations, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The role includes developing operational programs, directing day-to-day chemical operations, and leading continuous improvement while coordinating with health physics, quality assurance, environmental compliance and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience with hazardous materials handling and safety protocols.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical input for project work plans and schedules; identify risks.
• Develop Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) with health and safety staff; establish safety protocols and training.
• Participate in performance monitoring and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain alignment with company values and strategic objectives.
• Perform additional assignments as requested by management.
