Job summary

MPI is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent in the Philadelphia area to lead on-site teams, ensure projects meet quality, time, and budget targets, and coordinate with subcontractors and project managers.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of superintendent experience with commercial GC projects, OSHA certification (preferred), and strong communication and leadership skills to drive safe, efficient project delivery in life sciences or industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a construction superintendent for a commercial general contractor.

Responsibilities

• Lead the on-site team from construction start through project close.
• Proactively identify and help remedy design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project-specific issues.
• Communicate and interpret contract scope to the entire site management team.
• Create and maintain a project production schedule.
• Enforce safety protocols to ensure job site adheres to OSHA standards.
• Communicate regularly with owners, construction managers, other superintendents, and project coordinators.
