Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead laboratory, pharmaceutical, and healthcare construction projects in occupied environments. You will own day-to-day field operations, coordinate trade partners, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence from mobilization through closeout.

• 7+ years of commercial construction field experience.
• At least 3 years as a Superintendent or Lead Superintendent.

• Proficient reading of plans, managing schedules, and using construction management software.
• OSHA 30 preferred; experience with ICRA, cleanrooms, cGMP environments, or commissioning is a plus.

This person will own day-to-day field operations, coordinate trade partners, and deliver projects safely and on schedule while meeting the quality standards required in highly regulated and occupied environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations from mobilization through closeout, including subcontractor coordination, site logistics, inspections, and punch lists.
• Build and manage short-term schedules, identify constraints early, and keep the project team informed of field progress.
• Oversee work in active hospitals, laboratories, and pharmaceutical facilities while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.
• Coordinate shutdowns, utility tie-ins, temporary protections, and work in controlled or sensitive areas with facility stakeholders.
• Enforce safety requirements and project-specific infection control, dust containment, and cleanliness protocols.
• Review drawings and specifications, resolve field issues with the project team, and verify work meets quality requirements.
• Maintain daily reports and clear documentation of manpower, progress, delays, and site conditions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction field experience, including at least 3 years as a Superintendent or Lead Superintendent.
• Direct experience delivering healthcare, laboratory, pharmaceutical, or life sciences projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP-intensive construction, phased renovations, and work in occupied facilities.
• Ability to manage multiple trades, communicate effectively with owners and facility staff, and make sound decisions in the field.
• Proficiency reading plans, managing schedules, and using construction management software.
• OSHA 30 preferred. Experience with ICRA procedures, cleanrooms, cGMP environments, or commissioning and validation is a plus.
