Job summary

ARCO Murray Construction Company seeks an experienced lead superintendent to drive ground-up, commercial, and light industrial projects. You will lead field operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence from day one.

You will travel as needed across the Southeast, manage project teams, produce progress reports, and maintain strong relations with owners and architects. A proven leadership record and the ability to meet tight deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years' construction experience, with the last 5 years as lead superintendent on warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or cold storage projects.
• Willing to travel as projects require; Southeast region travel.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook; familiar with project scheduling software.
• Experience with iPad/tablet use preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award reviews for project details and preplanning.
• Develop and manage project schedule, staffing, and equipment needs.
• Direct construction to meet specs and schedule while controlling costs.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure integration with plans and progress.
• Maintain daily site diary and regular progress reporting to project manager.
• Ensure safety program adherence across all phases.
