Job summary

ARCO, a Family of Construction Companies, seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on warehouse, distribution, and manufacturing projects. Play a pivotal role in keeping work on schedule, within budget, and aligned with project specs, while managing subcontractors and daily progress.

You will coordinate site activities, monitor safety, and report to the project manager and regional manager.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years' construction experience with last 5 years as lead superintendent on warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or cold storage projects.
• Willing to travel as projects require.
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling programs.
• Experience using an iPad or similar tablet.
• Willing to travel minimally within the Southeast Region.

Responsibilities

• Attend and lead project meetings, obtain project info, and plan preconstruction activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors and align with project schedules and budgets.
• Direct total construction operations to meet specifications and timelines.
• Assist in approvals of shop drawings, material samples, and requisitions.
• Maintain daily diary and report progress to project manager and regional manager.
• Ensure adherence to ARCO safety program across all phases.
