ARCO Design/Build is seeking an experienced Superintendent for our Milwaukee team to lead ground-up commercial or industrial projects. You will manage field operations from day one, ensuring on-time completion, budget adherence, and strict safety standards while supporting project teams and subcontractors.

The role emphasizes leadership, coordination of schedules, and consistent communication with owners, architects, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• 5-25+ years of construction experience, with at least 5 years as a Lead Superintendent for a GC on commercial or industrial projects.
• Computer skills: proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling programs.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet physical demands: stand/walk long periods, uneven terrain, lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Attend the post-award review meeting to receive project information for preplanning.
• Prepare a schedule of construction activities, organization, staffing, and equipment requirements.
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specs and schedule while maintaining efficiency.
• Coordinate subcontractors to integrate with project schedules and progress.
• Inform supervisors and subcontractors promptly of any schedule changes.
• Prepare job progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
• Review and approve requisitions, field POs, invoices, and other significant reports.
