Job summary

ARCO Design/Build seeks a seasoned leader to oversee field operations on large ground-up warehouse or distribution center projects in the Southeast. The role requires guiding projects from preconstruction through turnover, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

You will manage daily activities, coordinate subcontractors, review shop drawings, and report progress to leadership while keeping client expectations in line with project goals.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years of construction experience with at least 5 years as a lead superintendent on warehouse or distribution center projects ≥100k sq ft.
• At least five years of recent experience in the Southeast.
• Willing to travel nationally.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling programs.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review meeting for preplanning.
• Assist in preparing construction activity schedules and staffing.
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specs and schedule with profit.
• Coordinate subcontractors and integrate with schedules and progress.
• Manage field purchase orders, invoices, and cost reports.
• Meet with owner, architects, and representatives to maintain progress.
