Job summary

Yates Construction Co. is seeking a Superintendent to effectively monitor, direct, and coordinate field operations for a project. You will work with project management and engineers to oversee safety, schedule, quality, and budget, while mentoring junior team members.

This role requires six years of industry experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read technical drawings, manage comp schedule, and collaborate with owners and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of industry experience.
• Experience managing a scope of work valued over $1MM.
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications, blueprints, and drawings.
• Mentoring and timely performance evaluation of Assistant Superintendents and Foremen.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field operations with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Plan manpower and scheduling for onsite trades.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety management for project.
• Develop and maintain site logistics and scopes of work.
• Manage project CPM schedule and look-ahead planning.
• Oversee quality, safety, risk and compliance.
• Close-out and punch-list management.
• Report incidents and ensure OSHA compliance.
