Job summary

Yates Construction Co. seeks a Superintendent to monitor, direct and coordinate all field operations for a given area of discipline or an entire project.

You will work with project management and engineers to form a strong management team, overseeing safety, schedule, quality of work and budget. You will mentor junior team members, lead toolbox talks, coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with safety procedures and project plans while delivering

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or higher preferred in CM/Engineering.
• Minimum of six years industry experience.
• Experience managing a scope of work valued over $1MM.
• Strong planning and scheduling understanding.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field operations with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors/supervise trades.
• Plan manpower and schedule activities onsite.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety management.
• Oversee safety, quality, risk, and compliance for the project.
• Develop site logistics and scopes of work; perform constructability reviews.
• Lead meetings, participate in CPM scheduling and project close-out.
