Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a Project Scheduler to develop and manage schedules for large or multiple complex construction projects. You will revise schedules with the project team and monitor progress against defined targets using CPM logic and Primavera P6.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Construction Management and 4+ years of related experience, with experience on large projects (> $50m) and knowledge of earned value concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, or related field with minimum of 4 years of related experience.
• Large construction project experience (> $50m).
• Experience in construction positions (e.g., Field Engineer, Assistant Superintendent).
• Proficient use of scheduling software applications (e.g., Oracle Primavera P6).
• Knowledge of scheduling comparison tools (e.g., Acumen Fuse, Change Inspector).
• Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to develop project schedule.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules for large or multiple smaller construction projects with more complex scheduling activities.
• Revise and review project schedule with project team and monitor progress against defined schedule.
• Collaborate with project team to develop project schedule based on CPM logic-generated baselines.
• Create target comparison models and look-ahead schedules to provide progress updates and risks to stakeholders.
