Job summary

Vanir is seeking an experienced Construction Scheduling Lead to join our PMCM team in California. You will coordinate project schedules, review contractor progress, perform time impact analyses and support cost-loaded schedules across large programs.

Bachelor's degree and 10 years scheduling experience required; expertise in Primavera and MS Office; ability to work across multiple sites and communicate effectively is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 10 years of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction programs.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera Scheduling Software and MS Office (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of cost engineering and scheduling theories, principles and practices.
• Experience with time impact analysis and construction change orders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation of project schedules based on execution philosophies.
• Perform contractor schedule reviews for conformance and quality assurance.
• Evaluate change orders for impact on budget and schedule.
• Perform time impact analysis of project schedule delays and potential claims.
• Participate in change order negotiations.
• Perform Critical Path and Earned Value analyses.
• Identify schedule related problems and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct site visits for progress reporting.
• Review contractor recovery schedules and report findings to management.
• Analyze actual expenditures versus budget and prepare cash flow projections.
