Job summary

Vanir Construction Management, Inc. seeks a Senior Scheduler in the Los Angeles area to lead complex project and program schedules across multiple sites. You will perform time impact analyses, review contractor progress, and support change order negotiations, with a focus on cost and schedule integration.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of scheduling on large construction programs, strong Primavera and MS Office skills, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to management and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 10 years of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction programs.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera Scheduling Software and MS Office (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of cost engineering and scheduling theories and practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation of project schedules based on defined execution philosophies.
• Perform contractor schedule reviews for conformance and QA.
• Evaluate change orders for impact on budget and schedule.
• Conduct time impact analyses of schedule delays and potential claims.
• Participate in change order negotiations and recovery schedules.
• Perform Critical Path and Earned Value analyses.
• Review contractor progress and report findings to management.
