Job summary

Shaw-Lundquist Associates, Inc. is seeking a Site Superintendent to oversee the total construction effort in Las Vegas, NV. You will ensure the project aligns with design, budget, and schedule while coordinating multiple contractors and trades.

You will develop site safety plans with the Safety Director, review progress with the Project Manager, and ensure QA/QC procedures are followed. Travel to project sites, including out of state, is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend internal pre-construction meetings and review plans, specs, and addenda.
• Coordinate temporary facilities such as trailers, toilets, fences, dumpsters.
• Develop a site-specific emergency action and safety plan with Safety Director.
• Complete required actions from the QA/QC program.
• Review subcontractor contracts with project manager prior to start of work.
• Check subcontractor insurance certificates prior to start of work.
• Receive city approved plans, note changes, and communicate changes to the design team.
• Make changes to as-built drawings daily and supervise the total jobsite effort.
