Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations on major commercial projects in the United States. You will oversee self-performed and contractor work, ensure compliance with contract documents and the project schedule, and promote a culture of safety and quality.

The role requires 7+ years in large-scale construction, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of scheduling, contracts, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in large-scale commercial construction
• Bachelor's or higher in a construction-related discipline or related experience
• Demonstrated leadership of field operations and cross-team communication

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely and quality installation of contracted work for all or part of a project
• Instill safety and quality culture among Clark employees and trade contractors, conducting regular inspections
• Develop and manage a plan to sequence work, coordinate site logistics, and track materials and personnel
• Ensure work meets project and company standards of quality
• Take initiative to deliver projects on schedule and on budget
• Develop, update, and communicate the project schedule with stakeholders
• Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing team
• Build strong relationships with project stakeholders
• Represent the company professionally in meetings and interactions
• Understand owner contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements
• Contribute to staff charts, general conditions, and KPI tracking
• Participate in close-out activities including punch lists and operations training
• Demonstrate problem-solving to overcome project obstacles and conflicts
