Job summary

Ajax Building Company, part of the STO Building Group, seeks a Project Manager to lead planning and execution of complex construction projects. In this role, you will coordinate field leadership, subcontractors, and project stakeholders while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and engineers and plays a key role in driving project performance and financial success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• General Contractor License preferred.
• Strong understanding of industry practices and trends.
• Advanced interpersonal, communicative, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Hire, supervise, terminate, and/or delegate duties of personnel per company policies.
• Develop and implement operating procedures for project operations.
• Approve material purchases and equipment rentals not covered in the estimate.
• Act as company representative in negotiations with owners.
• Approve tool and supply purchases on site.
• Approve contract agreements and costs of outside repairs.
• Review reports to monitor time, cost, quality and safety.
• Oversee preparation of project budget and schedule.
• Audit activities for profitable project delivery from signing to warranty.
