Job summary

The Construction Foreman II at Louisiana Bridge Builders oversees day-to-day onsite duties for the I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge project in Lake Charles, LA, coordinating crew activities, ensuring safety, and maintaining quality standards.

You will supervise multi-disciplinary teams, monitor progress, prepare reports for LADOTD, manage equipment and materials, and mentor staff while upholding company safety policies and project schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant civil construction experience.
• Experience leading multi-discipline crews on large projects.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and coordinate crew activities and field operations.
• Assist with reports for LADOTD and Developer including quantities and time sheets.
• Maintain accurate daily management and safety records.
• Oversee safe, compliant maintenance and operations and troubleshoot issues.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure timely, reliable operations.
• Ensure all work complies with safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Lead recruitment, coaching, and performance reviews for field staff.
• Maintain tools, parts, and consumables to prevent interruptions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
