Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Estimator in Dallas, TX to grow the company’s capabilities on design-bid-build and design-build projects. You will analyze drawings and proposals to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates, and lead subcontractor discussions to develop complete project scopes.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management or related degree preferred but not required.
• 3+ years of related experience preferably as a commercial construction estimator.
• Passionate about profession, dedicated to winning work and ownership of work product.
• Field experience is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; detail oriented and good communicator.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimate for projects.
• Perform portions of estimates for multi-discipline projects including scope determinations and accurate quantity survey.
• Solicit Subcontractor and/or Vendor quotes and evaluate them for scope.
• Lead meetings with Subcontractors to develop complete scopes and discuss strategy.
• Perform risk and contract management responsibilities as required on bids.
• Prepare responses to RFQs and RFPs; promote continuous improvement in estimating methods.
