Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking an experienced estimator to prepare budgets and bids for multiple projects, developing estimates for labor, materials, and subcontractor scopes. The role involves leading and training other estimators, evaluating bids, and promoting continuous improvement in estimating methods.

The position requires analyzing drawings and specifications, leading subcontractor discussions, and managing risk and contracts during bids.

Qualifications

5-10+ years of estimating and cost control related experience.
Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management, a related discipline or relevant work experience.
Demonstrate the ability to lead or be part of a team for multiple projects and pursuits.
Knowledge of On Screen Take-off, Microsoft Excel, and Bluebeam software.

Responsibilities

Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
Lead or perform portions of estimates for multi-discipline projects and understand scope.
Solicit Subcontractor and vendor quotes and evaluate them for scope and qualifications.
Lead meetings with Subcontractors to discuss strategy and develop complete scopes.
