Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent
• At least five years of experience with a general contractor, with at least three years in preconstruction/estimating
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Focus on Design-Build projects and select hard bid projects aligned with LGE’s strengths.
• Prepare preliminary ROMs for Business Development and Creation teams.
• Coordinate with design team on construction methodology, scope, and budget.
• Manage bid solicitations, pricing and subcontractor/vendor relations.
• Travel to meet regional subcontractors to build relationships.
• Organize, update and submit prequalification data and proposals.
• Handoff to construction and address cost/scope issues for timely closeout.
