Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Experienced Project Engineer to lead information management on the Cleveland Main project, ensuring the project is built on time, within budget, and to contract quality.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Architects, Subcontractors, and Owners representatives, managing submittals, shop drawings, and change orders, and overseeing close-out documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of four years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and LEAN methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead liaison with Architects, Subcontractors, Consultants, Suppliers, Inspectors and Owner's Representatives to resolve plans and specifications issues.
• Oversee and manage contract drawings, submittals and shop drawings; ensure alignment with estimates.
• Manage project budget and control costs.
• Coordinate and review changes; negotiate Change Orders and obtain approvals.
• Oversee project close-out; compile RFI's, warranties, O&M manuals, and as-builts.
• Supervise Engineers, Assistants, Clerks and Interns; contribute to performance appraisals.
• Prepare Scope of Work documents for trades and develop weekly/ monthly reports.
