Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a Concrete Superintendent for Self-Perform Operations to lead SPO staff, subcontractors, and suppliers. The role ensures work aligns with contract scope, safety standards, and project schedules while supervising trade labor and driving productivity.

The position requires strong leadership, project management, and EH&S knowledge, with proven ability to develop and integrate complex schedules and perform constructability reviews. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience as Superintendent managing self-perform work or similar.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of self-perform work, scheduling, cost control, contract docs, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, forecast, lead, direct, and coordinate SPO staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Develop and implement safety programs with EH&S to ensure compliance.
• Develop Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) with Forepersons for daily planning.
• Integrate SPO schedules into the main project schedule and monitor progress.
• Manage hiring/termination decisions for Trade labor and communicate with leadership.
• Perform constructability reviews and resolve design/contract constraints.
