Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead Self-Perform Operations (SPO) on concrete projects in Memphis. You will coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, ensure work aligns with schedule, budget, and safety standards, and drive productivity through effective staffing and planning.

The role requires deep concrete construction knowledge, strong leadership, and excellent communication with Owners, Architects, and Engineers.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of related experience as Superintendent or foreperson in concrete-focused work.
Experience managing concrete projects and portfolios of structures.
Knowledge of formwork systems and tools used in concrete construction.
Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, and schedules.
Proficient communication and leadership to coordinate trades and stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of EH&S practices in construction.

Responsibilities

Plan and lead SPO staff, subcontractors, and suppliers on concrete projects.
Sequence concrete work to meet project schedule and production targets.
Monitor quantities, progress, and reporting for SPO tasks.
Assist in staffing decisions and coordinating with forepersons from other trades.
Develop and implement safety plans and formwork choices for quality work.
