Job summary

Zak Human Solutions is seeking a Concrete Superintendent to oversee all commercial concrete field operations from mobilization through closeout, while also serving as a Utility Superintendent for residential work during gaps between commercial assignments. The role ensures crews, equipment, and schedules remain fully utilized across both divisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in concrete construction, including 2+ years supervising.
• Read blueprints, specifications, and site plans.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and practices.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Able to manage multiple jobsites and shifting priorities.
• Preferred: OSHA 30, ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician.
• Experience with Procore or Buildertrend.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and supervise commercial concrete work.
• Review plans and specs for compliance.
• Coordinate daily activities with general contractors, PMs, surveyors, and subcontractors.
• Manage crew assignments and labor needs.
• Order materials and coordinate pours and ready-mix deliveries.
• Ensure formwork, rebar, and finishing meet plans and tolerances.
• Lead safety meetings and OSHA compliance.
• Maintain daily reports, production logs, and track schedule/budget.
• Resolve field issues and coordinate change orders with PM/Division President.
