Job summary

Okland Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a seasoned concrete construction leader to oversee place-and-finish operations, ensuring safety, quality and on-schedule delivery, with proven experience leading crews and coordinating complex pours.

You will plan placements, manage manpower, equipment, and site logistics; lead pre-pour meetings; monitor quality, production, and FF/FL compliance; mentor foremen and craft professionals while upholding safety culture.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; advanced construction-related education preferred.
• 5+ years in concrete construction with place-and-finish experience.
• Experience as Superintendent or field leadership for concrete crews and operations.
• Strong knowledge of concrete placement, finishing techniques, curing, saw cutting, QC, and sequencing.
• Experience planning and executing large or complex pours.
• Manpower planning, production tracking, equipment utilization, and field logistics.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, and project docs.
• Proven ability to lead and develop field teams while maintaining safety, quality, schedule accountability.
• Strong communication, organization, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead all concrete place-and-finish operations safely and efficiently, per project quality standards.
• Plan and coordinate placements: manpower, equipment, materials, deliveries, sequencing, and site logistics.
• Lead pre-pour planning meetings and confirm crews, equipment, materials, and site conditions are ready.
• Oversee concrete placement, finishing, curing, saw cutting, and protection of completed work.
