Job summary

Kent Companies seeks a Senior Estimator to lead bid proposals and scope analysis for new projects, including pricing on change orders. You will review contract documents to develop detailed cost estimates with appropriate profit margins to meet division goals.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
• Identifies competitive edge and risks to each project; communicates with the Operations team.
• Provides value engineering and design-assist solutions, including cost/schedule impacts.
• Reviews contract documents, specs, and drawings to prepare cost estimates and bid packages.
• Develops detailed project take-offs and complete estimates with proper labor, material, and equipment costs.
• Solicits subcontractor pricing and selects qualified vendors.
• Prepares accurate proposals with timelines, exclusions, and documentation.
