Job summary

Kent Companies seeks a Senior Estimator in Atlanta to lead cost estimating for new bids and change orders. You will review drawings, specs, and reference data to build detailed estimates with appropriate margins, while coordinating with operations and suppliers.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in concrete estimating and demonstrated leadership. Requires travel awareness and a valid driver’s license; benefits include competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in CM or engineering and 5+ years concrete estimating leadership experience.
• Experience managing concrete preconstruction processes and bid reviews.
• Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices and subcontractor pricing.

Responsibilities

• Establishes relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Analyzes contract docs to develop detailed cost estimates and bid strategies.
• Solicits subcontractor pricing and selects qualified partners.
• Develops complete estimates with inclusions, contingencies, and labor costs.
• Preconstruction planning, bid calendar, and post-bid follow-ups.
