Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to oversee IV room operations and supervise pharmacy technician staff. The role emphasizes quality control, compliance with state regulations, and development of policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, interviewing, training, and performance coaching, along with preparing aseptic IV admixtures and chemo preparations. A CSPT/CPhT path is preferred; licensing per state requirements is needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience with internal and external customers.
• Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform advanced mathematical calculations.
• Licensed and/or registered as required by state.
• CPhT and CSPT certifications may be required within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmacy technician operations in the IV room.
• Develops and tracks operational goals; ensures policy compliance.
• Schedules and reviews technician performance; hires as needed.
• Prepares aseptic IV admixtures and chemotherapy preparations.
• Maintains quality control in clean room and laminar hood processes.
• Addresses staffing needs and ensures staff training and development.
