Option Care Health is hiring a Compounding Technician II to work in a clean room environment under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist. You will help prepare and dispense medications, perform calculations for dosages, and ensure quality and compliance with state regulations.

The role includes maintaining accurate logs, assisting with equipment calibration, and mentoring junior technicians. A High School Diploma or GED and CPhT are required, with state licensure if applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification preferred.
• Must be licensed or registered if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications per policies and state regulations.
• Prepares medications to be accurately compounded.
• Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations for correct dosages.
• Reviews compounded/packaged medications to ensure quality.
• Ensures compounding and packaging are approved by a licensed pharmacist.
