Chewy is seeking Compounding Pharmacists to join our team in Louisville, KY. You will supervise compounding personnel, verify orders, and ensure quality and safety in all compounded medications, while collaborating with pharmacists and technicians.

Qualifications
- Must have BS or Doctor of Pharmacy degree
- Current Kentucky pharmacist license in good standing
- Strong math skills are vital
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Must be capable to undergo respirator fit testing
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds with or without accommodation
Responsibilities
- Directly supervise compounding personnel
- Perform and document compounding procedures, QA checks, and release of compounded preparations
- Train and evaluate compounding personnel
- Receive and process customer and veterinarian orders
- Calibrate, maintain, and use compounding equipment
- Review and approve materials for use in compounding
- Provide consultation and answer questions
- Follow USP and internal safety guidelines for compounded medications
- Demonstrate safe handling of hazardous chemicals
- Wear PPE as required
