Job summary

Chewy is hiring an Area Manager for our Pharmacy Compounding Lab in the United States. You will direct hourly staff in receiving, storage, and shipping of compounded medications and drive productivity, quality, and safety standards in a fast-paced e-commerce pharmacy environment.

You will train, coach, and discipline team members, ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and USP guidelines, and partner with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Active pharmacist or certified pharmacy technician license in PA, or the ability to obtain within six months.
• Associate Degree; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Direct hourly staff in receiving, storage and shipping of products.
• Maintain productivity, labor, and quality objectives.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and USP guidelines.
• Provide training, feedback and coaching to team members.
• Lead safety and quality through daily supervision and corrective actions.
• Complete essential documentation for attendance, productivity and safety.
• Drive process improvements through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
