Job summary

Chewy is seeking Sterile Compounding Pharmacists to support high-volume CSP production in a 503A setting in Pittston, PA. You will oversee sterile compounding activities, ensure USP compliance, and maintain quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead technicians, collaborate with quality and leadership, review ingredients and equipment, and drive continuous improvement while upholding patient safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy required.
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license required.
• 2+ years experience in sterile compounding required.
• High-volume sterile compounding experience preferred.
• Experience with Category 2 and Category 3 sterile compounding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily sterile compounding operations in the cleanroom.
• Ensure compliance with USP and Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Release CSPs per regulatory and internal standards.
• Supervise and direct pharmacy technicians during compounding.
• Train and assess compounding personnel competency.
