Legacy Lyfe Pharmacies in Basalt, Colorado seeks a Lead Compounding Pharmacist to oversee day‑to‑day non‑sterile production, support sterile activities, supervise technicians, and ensure compliant preparation and dispensing of compounded medications.

The role emphasizes patient safety, meticulous documentation, and workflow optimization for inspection readiness within a technology‑enabled compounding operation.

Qualificações

• PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy from an accredited program with licensure ready by start date.
• Active, unrestricted Colorado pharmacist license and eligibility for practice.
• Experience with sterile and non-sterile compounding principles, documentation, and quality controls.
• Ability to safely work with hazardous drugs and PPE requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide pharmacist oversight for sterile and non-sterile compounding operations.
• Verify prescriptions, calculations, formulations, and labeling before release.
• Supervise and train Compounding Pharmacy Technicians and prioritize production.
• Lead day-to-day non-sterile production and support sterile production scheduling.
• Prepare dosage forms (capsules, creams, ointments, gels, troches, suspensions, solutions).
• Ensure proper controls, PPE, and cleaning procedures for hazardous and non-hazardous work.
• Review master/formulation records, logs, and quality-control results for accuracy.
• Support formulation development and process improvement under PIC direction.
• Investigate deviations and quality events; support corrective actions and retraining.
• Monitor inventories, certificates of analysis, expiration dates, and access control.
