Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Compliance Lead Analyst within the CX Compliance Operations to conduct end-to-end Transaction Monitoring investigations for customers and draft SARs. The role requires independent work with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate emerging risks, test tools, and ensure adherence to KYC, BSA/AML, and OFAC standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in financial services, crypto, or tech with TMS/EDD experience.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze manual referrals and automated alerts from transaction monitoring systems.
• Conduct due diligence and KYC reviews to assess legitimacy and mitigate risks.
• Document findings and create narratives to support investigations.
• Improve compliance workflows through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Test compliance tools/models and provide feedback to ML teams.
