Coinbase is seeking a Compliance Lead Analyst for the CX Compliance Operations team. You will conduct end-to-end Transaction Monitoring investigations for customers and draft SARs, while proactively detecting risks and testing new tools before deployment to production.

You will work independently with cross-functional teams, prioritizing multiple tasks with minimal guidance and driving continuous improvement in compliance operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in financial services, crypto, or tech focusing on TMS/EDD investigations.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and written communication skills.
• Experience with Google apps.
• Adaptable to a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
• Strategic and operational thinking with risk awareness.
• Creativity and problem-solving for unstructured challenges.

Responsibilities

• Investigations & Risk Analysis
• Identify patterns or emerging risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate, refine, and optimize compliance workflows, models, and procedures.
• Test compliance tools, rules, and/or detection models; provide feedback to ML teams.
• Remain current with industry standards for KYC, BSA/AML, OFAC and maintain policy documentation.
