Job summary

CRC Group is seeking a Complex Claims Manager to lead investigations, evaluations, and resolution of high-severity Construction Defect claims. The role involves coverage analysis, liability assessment, and strategic settlements within defined authority limits.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with legal, brokers, and insured clients, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations while reporting trends and risk exposure to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in claims handling Complex Construction Defect claims.
• Prior experience managing complex or high-severity claims preferred.
• Experience with litigation management and settlement negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, assess, and resolve complex or high-exposure Construction Defect claims within authority limits.
• Conduct comprehensive coverage analysis and determine liability exposure.
• Negotiate settlements within authority limits and in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and technical expertise to less experienced claims staff.
• Collaborate with legal counsel, brokers, and insured clients to ensure proper claim resolution.
• Ensure adherence to organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Prepare and present reports on claim status, trends, and risk exposure to management.
