Education Jobs NJ is seeking an Assistant Director of Competitive Aquatics in Westfield, NJ. The role oversees the Devilfish program, develops new swim offerings, and leads clinics and lessons under the supervision of the Associate Director of Competitive Aquatics.

You will manage registrations, staff development, and meet scheduling while ensuring safety and program quality. This role requires strong leadership, coaching background, and USA Swimming affiliation.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• Minimum of three years' coaching experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Must be a USA Swimming member and possess/l renew lifeguard certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise, develop and oversee the Devilfish program with guidance from the Associate Director.
• Lead swim clinics and long course training; provide lessons and monitor payments.
• Assist with registrations, collect paperwork, and follow up on payments.
• Oversee staff supervision and develop lesson plans for coaching staff.
• Schedule and manage practice and meet calendars; ensure safety and equipment.
• Attend dual meets, YMCA championships, and USA Invitational meets.
• Maintain team records, update handbooks, and respond to parent inquiries within 24–48 hours.
