Job summary

AAMCI is seeking a dedicated Community Manager to oversee elderly affordable housing properties in Alderson, WV. You will lead day-to-day operations, leverage Yardi Voyager to manage finances, leases and compliance, and ensure excellent resident service.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in property management, strong leadership, and a passion for creating vibrant, sustainable communities while coordinating with on-site staff, vendors, and regulators.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of property management experience, focusing on affordable housing.
• Strong proficiency with Yardi Voyager software, including affordable housing modules.
• Knowledge of affordable housing regulations and Project Based Section 8.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities with residents, staff and vendors.
• Proven leadership to motivate and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of property operations including leasing, rent collection, maintenance and resident relations.
• Utilize Yardi Voyager for budgeting, rent rolls, AP/AR and financial reporting.
• Oversee leasing, marketing vacancies, tours, screening and lease execution.
• Ensure compliance with affordable housing programs and maintain records.
• Supervise on-site staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Foster an inclusive community by organizing resident events and addressing concerns.
