Job summary

RTX is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Commercial Wheel & Brake portfolio. The role focuses on coordinating engineering plans, budgets, and timelines across design, production, and in-service sustainment to meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate holds a STEM degree with 5+ years of related experience and may have an advanced degree with 3+ years. Onsite role with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM degree and typically a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with at least 3 years of experience.
• 2+ years project management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, execution and tracking of engineering activities for commercial wheel & brake products.
• Coordinate and drive assigned engineering tasks to closure with updates to the wider organization.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies with the technical team.
• Lead product cost optimization activities across the W&B portfolio to drive long-term competitiveness.
• Collaborate with the Commercial project engineering team in the product development process.
