Job summary

RoofOne Detroit Market is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Supervisor to lead field crews on on-site commercial roofing projects in Detroit. You will oversee production, safety, and quality, traveling to sites using a company vehicle and driving projects to completion.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, mentor-ship, and strong communication with customers and management to deliver reliable roofing solutions and exceptional field results.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial roofing experience.
• 1–2 years of leadership experience with the ability to lead teams effectively.
• Knowledge of low-slope roofing systems.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights safely.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily job site operations for commercial roofing projects, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Lead and coordinate crews to complete roofing installations and repairs safely and on schedule.
• Lead safety initiatives and enforce OSHA and company safety standards across all roofing activities.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control on all commercial roofing work.
• Lead communication between field teams, management, and customers to ensure strong customer service.
• Lead performance through coaching, accountability, and team development.
