Job summary

Baillow Recruiting LLC is seeking a Commercial Roofing Sheet Metal Superintendent to oversee field operations in the Fargo-Moorhead area. This hands-on leadership role requires experience with architectural sheet metal systems and commercial roofing, ensuring projects meet quality, safety, and schedule targets.

You will direct crews, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, read drawings, resolve field issues, and manage change orders while promoting safety on all jobsites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial roofing/sheet metal foreman, superintendent, or similar leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing and architectural sheet metal systems.
• Ability to lead field crews and subcontractors.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities.
• Valid, insurable driver's license.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day direction to commercial roofing and sheet metal crews.
• Oversee project schedules, quality, manpower, and field operations.
• Inspect sheet metal work to ensure quality and industry standards are met.
• Coordinate with clients, crews, subcontractors, and management throughout projects.
• Read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Identify and resolve field issues to keep projects moving.
• Coordinate change orders and provide project progress updates.
• Promote and enforce safe work practices across jobsites.
