Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of commercial roofing estimating experience for insurance claims and/or bid reroofs.
Experience as a Commercial Roofing Estimator in the general construction field as a general contractor representative.
Demonstrated experience negotiating with insurance adjusters.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial roofing projects, including insurance claims and bid reroof work.
Perform takeoffs from drawings, prints, measurements, and site visits as needed.
Coordinate with insurance adjusters to support fully documented claim estimates.
Prepare and submit the full prebid package (estimate, budget, schedule) and manage pre-bid submissions.
Communicate with clients (local and corporate) to set expectations and ensure smooth handoff to production.
