Job summary

BlueTeam is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to develop accurate cost estimates for hospitality, senior care, multi-family, and industrial roofing projects. You will lead the prebid process from assignment to client submission, including site visits, takeoffs, and coordination with the Prebid review team.

You will work with project management, production, subcontractors, and clients to ensure estimates are complete, competitive, and delivered on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; five+ years in commercial roofing estimating.
• Experience with insurance claims and bid reroofs.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices and codes.
• Proficient with Xactimate and EDGE software.
• Ability to negotiate with insurance adjusters.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, competitive estimates for insurance and bid reroof projects.
• Conduct site visits and takeoffs from drawings and plans.
• Coordinate with adjusters to document claims and pricing.
• Submit full prebid packages on time with budgets and schedules.
• Facilitate handoff to Project Manager after bid award.
