Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in electrical power distribution including estimating, cost engineering, or technical proposals.
• 3+ years in people management, leading managers or multiple technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide the Commercial Estimating team to deliver clear, technically sound, cost-effective estimates.
• Oversee estimating activities for LV switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, and busway applications.
• Ensure consistent use of the Quote Configurator and estimating tools for accurate quotes.
• Assist in hiring and onboarding new Cost Engineers and provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to resolve cost and scope questions during quoting.
• Drive continuous improvement of estimating standards, tools, and process documentation.
• Maintain a positive team culture aligned with reliability, safety, integrity and productivity.
