Job summary

Lincoln Electric Products Co., Inc. is seeking a hands-on Electrical Estimator with direct experience in low-voltage switchgear manufacturing to support our expanding operations.

This high-impact role requires ownership of estimating custom switchgear solutions and close collaboration with engineering, sales, and production teams. This is not a training role; we need someone who can step in and contribute immediately, with 3+ years of estimating experience and strong knowledge of UL 891, UL

Qualifications

• Experience with panelboards and switchboards.
• Proven ability to build BOMs and perform equipment-level costing.

Position Summary

We’re looking for a hands-on Electrical Estimator with direct experience in low-voltage switchgear manufacturing to support our expanding operations.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll take ownership of estimating custom switchgear solutions—working closely with engineering, sales, and production teams.

This is not a training role. We are seeking someone who can step in and contribute immediately.

What You’ll Do

• Develop detailed cost estimates for custom switchgear projects
• Interpret one-line diagrams, schematics, and layouts
• Build accurate Bills of Material (BOMs)
• Analyze specifications and customer requirements
• Partner with internal teams to support quoting and production

What We’re Looking For (Must Have)

• 3+ years of estimating experience in low-voltage switchgear manufacturing
• Experience with:
• Panelboards
• Switchboards
• Strong knowledge of:
• UL 891
• UL 1558
• NEC
• Proven ability to build BOMs and perform equipment-level costing

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in estimating within the electrical manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of switchgear, control panels, and electrical distribution systems.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials, and cost drivers.
• Proficiency with estimation and CAD software; ERP/MRP system experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a custom or build-to-order manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of UL standards and relevant electrical codes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

We are specifically targeting candidates with manufacturing-based estimating experience.

Backgrounds focused solely on construction, utilities, or field installation will not align with this role.
