Job summary

IAPMO Group, a leading commercial design-build contractor in Downers Grove, IL, seeks a Project Manager to own and drive complex projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors while maintaining strong client relationships and coordinating with architects, engineers, and the construction team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Experience with design-build delivery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion and closeout.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, and project execution.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients throughout the process.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with milestones and deadlines.
• Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and documentation.
• Coordinate bidding, procurement, and buyout activities with subcontractors.
• Monitor costs, financial performance, and profitability.
• Lead project meetings and report to clients and leadership.
• Work with Superintendents to ensure safety and quality.
